In 1965 Jan and Wilhelmina Hendriks started the family business Hendriks Tenten. After more than 50 years, the family business has grown from a tent workshop to a complete outdoor – and camping store.
In our camping store you will find a complete camping assortment and tents for every camper. We offer a broad selection of family tents (NL) and season tents, and also lightweight tents are represented. Furthermore, a special department is dedicated to the fishing enthusiasts. In addition, we have a wide selection in clothing and hiking boots. Here, you will find well-known brands such as Fjall Raven, Jack Wolfskin, and Meindl (NL) but also less known brands such as Blue Seven, Killtec and Grisport.

In 2013, Hengelsport Hendriks (NL) became part of Kampeerwereld Hendriks. The department was set up by a fisher with passion and knowledge regarding all aspects of sport fishing. The assortment reflects this by offering everything you can possibly need for fishing.
In our retail store, more than 125 m² is dedicated to the fishing department with an extensive collection of products for every fish species. From a simple float to a bivvytent, you can find it in our retail store as well as on our online site. Fishers from all levels, from beginner to recreational to professional can enjoy a wide variety of products. Last but certainly not least, we like to help you make your choice by offering professional advice.
Tent workshop, where it all started
The tent specialist for repairs of tents
It all started in 1965 with the tent workshop (NL), which is still a key part of Kampeerwereld Hendriks. We repair tents, alter tents, carry out damage assessments and tailor-make tents in the workshop.
Our specialist carries out custom-made assignments, this always takes place during off-peak season. All year long, tent and awning repairs take place in the workshop, however it must be taken into account that a waiting time applies. Next to repairing tents, we can also apply alterations to awnings and we are unique with the Hendriks koppelsysteem (NL). We can also help you with haberdashery such as yarn and zippers.

Finish the year with a bang with Hendriks fireworks
Already for more than 10 years we have been one of the region’s largest points of sale for fireworks. This makes us the best place to buy your fireworks. From early November on you can pre-order your fireworks on bestelvuurwerk.nl (NL). Of course, you can also come to our store to (pre-)order your fireworks.
Safety first is most important for us. This not only applies in our store, but also when lighting fireworks. Speaking about lighting: make sure you do not miss out on our yearly spectacular fireworks show (NL). You can find all sorts of fireworks in our assortment: from colourful to deafening fireworks, but also youth and family sets. Safety goggles and ignition fuses help ensuring the safety. You can find our well-organized fireworks department on the ground floor of the retail store.

The winter months at Hendriks: Christmas and fireworks
Of course, we are also busy in the winter months. We continue our tent sales during these months, so you can also come to Hendriks for an excellent tent if you wish to camp in the winter season. Do you need to have your tent repaired? The winter months are the perfect time to do this! The waiting times for our tent workshop are shorter in the winter than during the peak season. So, bring your damaged tent in this period to be guaranteed of a functioning tent when the camping season starts again. In addition, we have our Kerstwereld (Christmas world) and the famous fireworks show and sale. Come to the store and find snow boots, ice skates and sledges for all of your snow adventures!
Almost 20 years of Christmas world Hendriks
Inspiration and ambiance for real Christmas lovers
For almost 20 years, we opened our Kerstwereld doors in the autumn break. It started out as a relatively small Christmas fair with a bit of glassware, Christmas baubles, and Christmas trees. Since then it has grown to a spectacular Christmas outlet which encompasses everything you may wish for. Next to traditional Christmas items such as trees and baubles, you can find products which you can display the entire winter season. To add to the holiday feeling, the ceiling of the Kerstwereld is covered in 80,000 Christmas lights. So, if you want to surround yourself with the spirit of Christmas, we definitely recommend a visit to our Christmas outlet. Tip: end the visit with a cup of coffee in our coffee corner!
